Lili Moonshine is a Belgian brand for handmade scented candles, wax melts, and atmospheric home fragrance products. Driven by my love for scent, ambiance, and beautiful details, I create a soft, dreamy world full of little moments of happiness for your home.

Hello, I'm Saskia, the face, hands, and heart behind Lili Moonshine®.

And yes... I still find it awful to introduce myself. But behind every brand there's a story, and behind Lili Moonshine there's a lot of me.

Lili Moonshine is my baby, my creative world, and now also my full-time passion. I don't have human children, but I do have two furry babies who rule my home, my heart, and a large part of my schedule. And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I live with ADHD, which means my mind rarely truly stands still. My thoughts constantly jump, dream, create, worry, and invent new worlds that don't yet exist. Sometimes chaotic, sometimes tiring, but also precisely where the magic originates.

I am a huge dreamer. My head is often in the clouds and my heart is always full of ideas. I love the moon, everything that feels soft, ethereal, mystical, and a little otherworldly. Moonlight calms me, inspires me, and feels like coming home.

Travel is also a great source of inspiration for me. New places, scents, colors, cultures, and atmospheres always linger somewhere in my mind and later, sometimes without me immediately realizing it, find their way back into a scent, a candle, or an entire collection.

How Lili Moonshine® came to be

What started as a creative outlet grew into something real, meaningful, and deeply personal. But Lili Moonshine didn't just originate from a love for candles and scents.

Lili Moonshine was born from loss.

After losing my two beloved British Shorthairs within one year, the grief felt unbearable. The house was silent. The emptiness was heavy. Creating became my way to breathe again.

Pouring wax, blending scents, choosing colors, and making something beautiful with my hands slowly gave my grief a place. From that heartache, Lili Moonshine® grew. Not only as a brand, but also as a form of healing. As a reminder that even from the darkest moments, something soft, warm, and beautiful can emerge again.

Therefore, every candle, every scent, and every collection carries a piece of me.

For me, scent is so much more than just something that smells nice. A scent can take you back to a memory, a place, or a feeling. To a sunny holiday, a soft spring morning, a warm autumn evening under a blanket, or just to that wonderful moment when your house truly feels like home.
